Linda J. Denny became President Emeritus of the nonprofit Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) in April, 2011 and is a leading advocate for and authority on women’s business enterprises (WBEs) as suppliers to corporations. During her five years as president and CEO she led the organization in significant growth by creating and implementing a strategic plan that addressed all aspects of the organization.
She was responsible for the “spin out” of WBENC’s global certification program and helped found WEConnect International. She was also instrumental in the creation of certification programs for the US Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the US Business Leadership Network.
A nationally-recognized expert in the field of women’s business development, Ms. Denny draws upon her experience from the corporate, financial services, and entrepreneurial arenas to support the development and growth of women owned businesses and to address the financial needs of women.
